Since I’m not updating a lot these day I’ll update you from what I’m receiving from different game makers.

Bubblis updated for social networks and with a 50% discount

The 29^nd of November an important update arrives for the words and puzzles game Bubblis. With it also comes a 50% discount in the game price, for a limited time only. The primary new feature of this update is integration with the social networks Facebook and Twitter.

With this interaction, users will be able to publish points and successes achieved in the game and can check their position against the rankings globally, in their country, and the scores of their friends. In addition to the comparison, publication and sharing of results, this update also includes an awards system, using  discount vouchers or gift cheques, according to achievements in Bubblis. For example, a 5 Euro voucher for a Starbucks store that the user can redeem directly at the points of sale. Awards will depend upon service availability in each country. 

With this update, Bubblis will also come to the online store Amazon, expanding the game’s availability to Amazon´s Kindle Fire tablets. Kindle Fire tablets represent almost 55% of the North American market and it is hoped that their  European presence grows as a result of the opening of the Amazon Appstore in Europe.  In the Appstore it is also possible to acquire the game for other Android devices, with the security of buying in a Market with highly exhaustive quality controls.

What does U1 and U2 do?
Ultimate soldier are the strongest unit in the game, they are the most expensive unit and take forever to recruit. Once you chose them you cannot change your choice until you switch server. Note that there also a item you can use to reset your choice.

How to obtain them :
For U1 you need : L10 of attack def of corresponding research for the unit type you want the U1 from
For U2 you need : L20 of attack def of corresponding research for the unit type you want the U1 from
Note : having L10 of attack def of 2 type of unit (like cavalry and infantry) give you the choice of both U1 but you can chose only one.

I recently had the chance to review bubblis new word game recently.
You can check the press release here.

At first I had trouble getting how to play Bubblis but with the help of the tutorial I’ve manage to understand the basic of the game. 

Once you understand that you just need to make the word on the right on the line the word is, the game become much easier and fun.

Here how it work : the letter slowly falling in a bubble one by one from the clouds. You to tape where they are going to try to make the word on the right side on the same line, if you don’t taps were the letter goes it might go randomly any were and if there no more space between the letter to fall and the cloud you’re done (like Tetris).
Note when you manage to get your word, all rows under this word are cleared giving you space to dispose of useless letters.

This picture might give you a good idea how it work :

On third line (x3) the player must make the word Robe but since there no letter on the third line the word stay on the right. On the second line the word was jew and since our friend managed to put the letter j and e he only need the letter w to clear the first and second. On the last line, the word that needed to be played is top and he almost got it too only the p missing.

Note that if you mange to get the word from the first line only the first line is clear. Like in the case of our friend, if he manage to get top only the first line is cleared and the letter j and e will fall on the first row instead of the second one.

The first time I played Lone Survivor I only managed to get near the cat and talk to him. I didn’t click that I could gave him some cat food, that probably because I’ve had already eaten the cat food.

I did  a second pass and I managed to get him to follow me in my apartment, little “Sunny” (That the name I gave him) really did make a difference my character mental health.

This cute little cat is near the hospital in the city. But before seeing the cat you need to get some cat food and the only way to get tin of cat food is to trade “Sleepy Cat comic” for them with the Director. I’ve found a total of 4 comics, they’re probably more but that should be enough to get the cat in your apartment.

Once you got cat food you can go see the cat nears the hospital. Approach him slowly, look the way the cat is moving when you are moving toward him.  If he move stop going toward him and wait until he is acting normal again. Once you are near him talk to him and give him some cat food. He will then go away but don’t worry I’ll be back.

Now you need to go back to your apartment and take a nap. Once you wake up go outside your apartment (take the stair), he should be there and give him an another tin of cat food. Go back to your apartment again and he should be waiting for you at the fire escape window of your room. Just give him some food again and he will enter your apartment you will even be able to give him a name. I don’t actually recall what the 4 can did when I gave him, try it and you will see 🙂

The folk at On Game Creative  sent me a press release for the new game Bubblis  this is not my writing, if they gave me access to there game you will probably have review (and screenshot) in the following week.

• It is a videogame of words and puzzles for mobile devices with a massive target audience.
• It is available in 44 languages distributed among 154 countries and is intended for players of all types ages 3 and up.
• Among the languages available are Catalan, Euskera, and Galician.
• Bubblis is available for iOS and Android, in corresponding stores, for 1’59 euros.

The objective is to construct words suggested by the game using letter-filled bubbles that fall from the top of the screen. Each of them begins with a word that a player must build horizontally. As the player places letters, new words to be completed on higher lines appear. Completing a word on a higher line is more difficult but if the player is successful he/she will receive more points.

The characters Bleeb and Bloob also form part of the game. Bleeb is an ally who at the beginning indicates with luminous circles where letters can be placed. Bleeb also provides wings to slow down falling letters, allowing for more time to finish the rounds.

On the other hand, the evil Bloob stalls game progress using bubbles filled with: vapor, smoke, ink, bombs, mines, or resonance. These obstacles are overcome with special features currently existent in some consoles, but still being innovation in mobile games.

For example, to remove the smoke from the screen, it is necessary to physically blow into the device microphone.

Each screen has a different background design. These have been elaborated one by one in artisan fashion with devices that simulate drawing on paper, and for their creators they are like small works of art. Each background represents a different part of the world, easily identifiable. There are 15 designs in total, each one with animations, aesthetics, and music characteristic of the country or region represented.

There are beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels, each consisting of 15 screens that can last between 5 and 45 minutes.

The game is available in 44 languages covering 154 countries throughout the world, for which it has been necessary to engage the participation of 44 specialized translators. The language can be changed at any time by accessing the game´s configuration menu. The languages in which the game is available, ordered according to their predominance, are:

About the Creators

On Game Creative is a young Spanish company, recently established. Bubblis is its first project. The company is headquartered in Badajoz and operates through its Barcelona delegation. It is currently working on new projects and is finalizing the PC and MAC versions of Bubblis that should be launched before the the end of the year.

I’ve wrote about lone survivor back in may and I finally finished it. I wanted to share my feeling about the game.
First don’t expect the game to take awhile to finish, I’ve did it in a bit more than 4hr (6hr if you count all the time I died) other managed to finish the game in 2hr.

I don’t want to bring any spoiler but the game is not what you expect at first, it more of a horror/survival game than a zombie one.
Even while playing your character commenting the game in an arcade and describe it has :
“It’s a game about guilt," "It looks kinda retro." "It’s just another zombie game."

The game leave you clue that at the same time you just ask yourself more questions. Who left those note? Why would those notes contradict one another ? Who is this Draco ?
You later discover pills and items that help you in your quest to get out of the building…
You don’t know at first what they do but has you use them you discover and your character tells you clue about which food is good and which is last resort food.
You can combine food to make them more tasty, you can cook it to have a tasty meal or brew yourself a coffee in the morning once you find a good source of water.

Another interesting point is that everything you do impact your mental health. Kill monster, not sleeping and eating rotten food makes you go crazy. While eating a healthy meal, having interaction with living being and sleeping help get your character more sane.
Again you can have subtle clue from the game, like what your character says when you talk to the mirror or comment he says while exploring your building. The game has multiples endings all mostly depend on your mental health and what you do through the game.
I really liked the game and I’m replaying it to get another ending (I got the blue ending first)
So if you like those kind of horror game and like indy game this game is definitely a buy.
It’s only 9.99 and you can probably get it 7.99 when steam put it on special.

I tried something last game in cyberpuck, I’ve lowered my ticket price and the result are surprising:

By reducing my mid level ticket by 50% (from 200$ to 100$) and divided my higher level ticket by 3 (165$ to 50$) I’ve increased my revenue by more that 200% .

Last part we talked about how to get a team and what to do first when you get your team.

Today I’m showing you the 7 thing you can do with your team.

1- Found and recruit good players

Like we said previously you should sign all your player and try to sign as many active players you can.  Player can joins and replace NPC on their own too so frequently check if somebody joined your roster. You can make them offer so their player stay longer and add penalty to prevent them from leaving.

Player Search : search and make offer to free player

2- Set-up your line and shootout

Updating your line frequently is very important so you always have the best player in your lineup. Update your line especially when you have new player that join. Do the same thing for the shootout order too.

3- Manage your arena:

Your ticket price to make more money and upgrade your arena so you can receive more money and offer big juicy contract.

This is your main (and almost only) source of revenue. The other way to get money is to sell player to other team.

4-Give / Renew your player contracts

If you want your player to be happy and to stay longer offer longer and juicier contract with a penalty if you release them and a sign-in bonus. If you have your own player on your team, you can give them big contract and have a lot of money to spend on training and equipment after.

5- Personalize your team.

Personalize your team so you can show your color to other manager, it show that you actively manage your team, increasing the chance of good player joining your team and give a personality to your team.

Go ahead, add a logo, create a banner, give them a great name. Don’t be afraid to be creative.

6- Talk to the player owners

Talk to the owner if they have other player they want to join the team, put the best player on the best line, discuss strategy with them. Check if they are active.

7 Do some exhibition match

You can go on pickup game and take on other team if they allow the option to do so.

You can also arrange friendly by go to manage team. Then to a page of another team, then click "arrange friendlies" at the top of the page. (I re-added the page -it was missing since the last update).

and can check you pending invitation or the invite you sent in Friendlies.

I finally got my hand on a team in cyberpuck, it cost 500 CDP to purchase the team and you need to pay an amount per season, the more season you are willing to pay the less point per season it cost. 

I wasn’t sure where I should buy a team so I bought a team in a country that not too crowded so my team had a good chance of winning.
When you buy a team you get a whole new menu under Manage team.

There a lot of useless option there lets cut the fact and talk about how to get that team and what you can do with your team.

How to get a team and what are the option

Getting cyber point

The hard part of buying a team is to get cyberpoint the buy your team, by logging every day you get around 20 point which mights take awhile to get to the minimum 1000 you need.

There other way to get point. You can either promote cyberpuck be referring other player or write some blog post about the game and they will credit you some cyberpoint.

If you have a good pocket you can pour some money in and buy cyberpoint, that probably the easiest way to get cyber point.

Buying a team for many season

Buying a team cost 500 point + up to 500 per season. Once you got those point you can chose how many seasons you want to manage the team and select a team that is free in one of the league of your choice.

If you are just starting you should probably got the less crowded leagues like Germany, Iceland, Japan where there is less competitive teams.

What can you do when you have a team

Finally you’ve got your team, grab some champagne and make a big party or just grab a beer, time to set up your team.

There  a lot to do with a team but it’s actually require less than time than managing your player.

Probably the first thing you need to do is to put your players (if you can) in your team.

For each player search for your team and make them join the team or you can make an offer from your team menu to all your player.

After that try to find decent free player and make them offer for the position that you need player, the default NPC player are awful so you want to replace them by actively managed players.
