I watched the movie Thor this week and I loved it, so out of curiosity I wanted to check the web site. I try to never check the web site before actually see the movie just in case there some spoiler.

While browsing the web site I came across game that ends up being interesting.

They actually have two games but the other one is more something to destroy your web pages like Kick-Ass.

The is Hammer of the gods and the concept is quite simple, you have to throws Thor’s hammer at frost giant to kill them.

While the game it’s not that bad for a game that you play 15 minutes then you’re done, the controls are somewhat difficult. You have to click on the mouse then move it back (toward Thor) to set the power of the throw. But most of the time you click and nothing happen.

When you complete a stage you unlock picture of the character of the movie if you complete the stage with only 2 throws or less.

Hope you enjoyed this one, but I got to say that the movie is much better than the game …

Something you got a urge to torture someone, the torture chamber succeed at torturing you.

It’s start with some bad midi and a suggestive title screen…

The concept is simple, you need to the guy until is health go to 0, you get point each time you inflict pain so the longer you torture the subject the more point you get.

The control are simple :

It’s ”q” and  “w” to increase and decrease the gravity

“a” and “s” to increase and decrease temperature

And “z” and “x” to move the room wall to squash you subject.

If you succeed on causing enough pain you might get a cool pain rank !

If you want to inflict yourself some pain go play that game, that probably where the game get it’s name.

The game is simple: do nothing…

Really !!  Thats what Idle. is about, doing nothing. You even level up after waiting for awhile…

This week  in bad game friday it’s actually more of a weird game friday.
I came across a funny game recently on http://www.indiegames.com called osada which I don’t know if we can really label it game since it more about making music with what you got on the screen.

It’s more about founding what to click and making music along the way some jamming are pretty neat and funny sometime you just have no clue of what happening and click everywhere.

The game is pretty click (about 30 minutes) and you’ll probably just play it once.
But for the heck of it it will be a weird and fun ½ of your life that you will never see back 🙂

It’s late and it’s friday, so that mean it’s drunken bad game friday unedited version. 

I found a nice game yesterday, it’s not that bad actually it’s called Cycle Blob.

Made out of the fresh of webgl cycle blob bring out actually 2 cool thing :

• 3d ! (yeah)
• drunken driving

You might notice that the title look like it come from the 80s, don’t worry that the only thing that from the 80s. The control does feel liek way older though.

The game is simple your are sent to space to race against up to 3 other bike (cycle) around a blob (like the name). Now you know where the name came from… You bike is not a ordinary bike, instead of toxic fume of CO2, a kind of blue trace come out of your bike when your moving. This trace (probably something toxic) can block you opponent et destroy is bike.

So the goal of the game is to run around a blog and try to block others with your toxic blue sh*t. Be careful though, you blue trace can kill you too.

It’s really hard to control but it’s actually enjoyable to play, nice concept with webgl. No end game, just no stop racing with other cars.

I know that it’s not such a bad game but it’s not a good one…

Nice concept and idea but that’s it…

This is pretty much worst than last week game. Graphic are weird and control are even weirder. Snake tamer don’t have a lot to offer.

You are a snake tamer who gonna control an army a snake and attack village and steal their food. Wait not really, it even more boring… you have to feed a snake an apple and you have to use your flute to guide him to the apple.

If you hit the wall you lose and if you grab a apple you win. That’s it !!!

Remember a virus that caused such turmoil in 2009 and ended up being almost nothing…
Somebody got the "brilliant" idea a making a game out of it.
Sometime these "brilliant" ideas should stay where they are, in a cave filled with man eating lizard.

Enter Kill H1n1

The game start with a scene with Michael and is girlfriend Marianne.
Marianne tell Mike to call her later to hangout.
Micheal call her later, her dad answer the phone and tell him she is really sick.
She has the H1N1 !!!!
Micheal go the is lab discover how to make an anti-virus vs the H1N1 (he’s a really smart kid)
Now He got the go around the neighborhood and cure everyone before going to Marianne to give her the antidote.

No you pervert, Micheal not staring at her boobs, he’s just playing the doctor with her…

The controls are atrociously bad, you walk with the key pad and use the spacebar to give the remedy to them. That not that hard at this point (except for jumping) but when you give the anti-virus to someone, you go in another mode, where you got to move the drop of you miracle blue solution (that how they call it) to unhealthy cell to cure them.

If you think that giant blob is ugly wait until you try the control of playing in that blob…

The control in that mode is a nightmare and to had to that fact (and that playing that mode is really boring) is that if your touch anything else than an unhealthy cell you’re done…

I didn’t get to the point where I actually succeed the stage I actually got 750 and decided that I wasted enough of my time on this game.

So for those who tried it, how boring did you found it ?

I just noticed what the best feature of the TKO 2.6 upgrade is.

Look at the heroes screen : 

You can now upgrade directly from the left list and you see all your heroes that need to level up.

I LOVE that feature.

There will be an upgrade to v2.6 on most server on the 22th of march, I think S1, S47 and S48 already got that upgrade.

There many nice feature to keep the game interesting even though I was king of losing interest since nothing was happening on my server.

There a lot of nice thing there my favs are probably going to be the hermit house, the super field and the capital outpost.

Finally a way to get epic without paying,  you can recruit them in the hermit house and you have to do quest before recruiting them.
Note : You could get epic heroes by fighting epic guardian too but I think you already knew that…

Super field
There will be new field spawned around the map, 18f (like the item we talked about here) 17f and 16f. They are heavily guarded (min of 50k of troop there).
The number is really limited, and I think that suck because you will have a whole server fighting for them and I think that stink for the gold player who paid a boat load of money from the previous event to get a 18 farm fields city.

Capital outpost

This upgrade was almost necessary since the number of city is capped and not everyone was able to get those capital city.  There a forum post that explains well how it work.

There other bunch of nice stuff in this upgrade: new unit, better unit management, league features,  etc …
